Retractable Design
Bloom features an innovative retractable design powered by a precision inner helix mechanism for smooth, controlled movement. This also allows for quick switching between straight and fan needle modes, and allows the needles to be protected during transport and when not in use.

Straight Needles
The dual function of straight needles and fan needles offer different functionality than other needling tools. The straight needle setting breaks up clumps, redistributes density and removes air pockets, and the long length allows the needles to reach deep into the coffee bed.

Fan Needles
The fan needle setting provides a static life - as you sweep the fan needles through the coffee bed, it lifts non-soluble materials like chaff to the surface. This reduces ‘choking’ of the brew bed and creates more consistency in draw-down time and overall extraction.

Static Reduction
Bloom’s specialised needles resist bending and glide smoothly through the grounds, naturally attracting fines and chaff for cleaner brews. By rapidly reducing static after grinding, Bloom lifts chaff, redistributes fines, and releases hidden air pockets - enhancing aroma clarity, flavour expression, and cup texture.

Specialised Advantage
The material of the Bloom needles are made of a specially compounded material. Much stronger than steel, this provides a much smoother movement through ground coffee than other materials, and reduces static in the coffee by up to 20% more than other materials.

Interchangeable Needles
The Bloom’s specialised needles are able to be swapped, replaced and reconfigured to any configuration of your liking. Each Bloom comes with a set of spare needles, ensuring you’re able to replace any when needed.

FlowTip for More Consistency
The Bloom features the FlowTip, an expertly crafted tip for creating an indentation in your coffee bed after needling. A unique feature of the Bloom, creating this indentation in your coffee brew bed provides a faster and more even saturation, as well as reduces bubbling and channeling between brews.
