Inmaculada Coffee Farms was founded in 2010 by the Holguin family, who after a long career in the sugar cane and palm oil industry, decided to give back to the local community through new coffee plantations.

Their plantations are located in the heart of the Andes mountains in Pichindé, Cali, at 1,700 to 2,000 metres above sea level. This incredible terroir allows them to focus on producing only a handful of high quality exotic varietals, namely Gesha, Bourbon, Sudan Rume, Laurina and the rare species Eugenioides.

The farms adopt an all organic, natural approach called biodynamic agriculture, completely abandoning synthetic fertilization and agrochemicals, to respect their ecosystem with the greatest care and responsibility.

Our team was fortunate to have visited the Holguin family in October 2022, where we witnessed their dedication to their producing some of the best coffees in the world.

We chose a couple of standout lots, one of it being this carbonic maceration natural processed Gesha. This lot best expresses the typical nature of a well produced Gesha; floral and delicate, with sweet stonefruits like yellow peach and a juicy, round mouthfeel.
